H-RAP

The Iowa State University History Research Assistance Program (H-RAP) is run by Iowa State University’s Graduate Students in History (GSH). The program is designed to share our passion for history with middle- and high-school students. Our goal is to provide students with guidance for history-related projects, papers, and assignments.

After receiving teacher permission, a student is welcome to submit a request by providing information in the fields below, along with their question. A graduate student with expertise in the area of their request will respond with suggestions and advice. We will help them locate useful resources, and provide feedback on their ideas.

Iowa State University Graduate Students in History (GSH) is a student-run organization that represents the interests of all graduate students pursuing an M.A. and/or Ph.D. in History at Iowa State University. We strive to enhance our experience as graduate students through planning various events that broaden our knowledge and supports professionalization.
