Area of Research Specialization: Agricultural and environmental history in the 20th century Ms. Kunadt’s doctoral work focuses on the history of the herbicide atrazine that quickly became the mainstay of industrial corn production after its release to the world market in 1958/59. The project analyses atrazine’s use and regulation—because of its residues in ground and drinking water—in the United States and West Germany, 1958-1991.Education
