A career spent studying the life, presidency, and family of Theodore Roosevelt was on full display when Prof. Stacy Cordery appeared recently on the two-part History Channel documentary, Theodore Roosevelt. Cordery, who teaches courses on the Gilded Age, First Ladies, and modern United States history, addressed many facets of Roosevelt’s fascinating life. Cordery is the author of two books about Theodore Roosevelt and the definitive biography of Roosevelt’s eldest daughter, Alice Roosevelt Longworth. She joined several prominent scholars providing expert content for the show, which was co-produced by Doris Kearns Goodwin and Leonardo DiCaprio.
