CATEGORIES: News Maria Howe, a PhD candidate in History, has won two awards to fund her research this summer on water policy in the American West. One is a James H. Bradley Fellowship from the Montana Historical Society. It funds four weeks of research in the Historical Society’s collections. The other is the Gordon Morris Bakken Scholarship in Western History, administered by the national history honor society Phi Alpha Theta. This scholarship supports research by a graduate student in history of the Trans-Mississippi West.
