What’s an unusual item you’ve found in the archives?

While doing work on a project related to the early history of Iowa State, I found a couple of documents in the archive relating to Iowa State College hiring a Pinkerton detective to work undercover posing as a student. The purpose was to root out the culprit in a series of thefts that had occurred in the student living quarters.
